Ivan and Me

Our Lives Journey through many seasons. Like all of you know, personal struggles are tough and real and if we can just hang in there, recoveries and healing often bring Beautiful Blessings. 

Although, my life has been personally challenging at times; Experiencing death of my sister at a young age, single parenting, divorce(s), loss of a parent, addiction and recovery, one thing I do know, is that throughout all, God was and is always with me. As a person in recovery and having been through so many different hard things, I found myself eager to want to share my love of the Lord with others and possessed a strong desire to share the peace, freedom and joy that I was able to find in Jesus Christ. I always wanted to be able to share my story with others, but I wasn’t sure how I could ever do something like that. Besides the sheer anxiety of doing so, how could I possibly simply start a conversation, or even find the people who wanted or needed to connect with someone else.  But it seemed as always, God had a plan.  And his name is Ivan. (whose name by no happenstance means gift from God) 

I was not even looking for a dog…. 

Hebrews 13:20-21 May the God of peace equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight.  

A dog was not even on my radar...  But Ivan came along, and the rest is history….

We are a Christian Ministry Service providing an offering of fellowship, prayers, and emotional support to those in need or just because. Romans 8:28

1. We go to nursing homes to read scripture, pray with people or just say hi! And of course, do tricks for attention

2. We visit rehabs and speak to groups

3. We will help with any counseling sessions if a counselor would like some comic relief to help bring some smiles and break the ice!

4. Other requests will be considered! Just reach out!
